Grass Fed Beef
Redhaven's beef is pastured raised and grass fed. Our stock is naturally raised with no antibiotics. They feast on pasture grasses and goodies from our gardens through the spring and summer and the meat should be ready for pick-up in the Fall.
We sell by the 1/2 and quarter share. For a 1/4 share you can expect 70-90 lbs of take home meat (125- 150 hanging weight).
Beef is estimated at $4.95 per pound hanging weight, plus butcher fees.
Butcher fees are payable to the butcher at the time of pickup.
You’ll work directly with the butcher to discuss how your meat will be cut and processed. The butcher cut/wrap fee is estimated at .53-.55 per pound, curing is about .72 per pound.
