Piglet Watch 2017

It's piglet watch 2017 at Redhaven Farms!

Bertha, our purebred Berkshire gilt, was bred in March and is due any day now! The gestation period for piglets is 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days- that's fast! Litters range in size from 3 to 20.

This is Bertha's first farrow, and we're hoping for an easy birthing process and healthy piglets! Check back for updates!!!
